Is Sanjay Dutt Confirmed For Salman Khan Starrer Sultan?

Rumours were doing rounds a week ago, that Sanjay Dutt would play an important role in Salman Khan starrer Sultan.

However, all rumours are laid to rest, and its now confirmed that Sanjay Dutt will not be a part of Salman Khan's movie.

Bollywood Hungama, quoted a source close to the movie as saying,

"After that there are two important male characters to be cast. One of them would be that of Salman's mentor. But no Sanjay Dutt. Isn't he in prison?"

According to the source, Salman Khan will bring a fresh face for the role of his mentor in Sultan. The actor will also get a new leading lady in the upcoming wrestling flick. The source was quoted as saying,

"Salman will be launching a new girl. He already has someone in mind and has spoken to producer Adi Chopra and director Ali Abbas Zafar about it."

The role of Salman Khan's trainer in the movie Sultan is one big mystery, a month back, it was rumoured that Hollywood star, Sylvester Stallone has been roped in for the character, which turned out to be completely false, and the film's executive producer called the rumours as baseless.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, were last seen on-screen together for the movie Chal Mere Bhai, which released in 2000, turned out to be a super-hit film. Salman and Sanjay got together again in 2005, and hosted the television series Bigg Boss 5.

It is also reported that Subhash Ghai, is planning to make a sequel of the super-hit movie Khalnayak, that starred Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff. Subhash Ghai has called the movie Khalnayak 2. However, no official confirmation has been announced about the sequel.

As of now, we will have to wait and watch, as to which actor would bag the role of Salman Khan's trainer in Sultan.
