Jacqueline Fernandez To Do Item Number In Salman Khan's Hero

The remake of 1983 movie Hero is produced by none other than Salman Khan. If you readers were happy hearing that he has crooned for a song in Hero, hold your breath, there's more to come.

Bollywood bombshell Jacquleine Fernandez is all set to do an item number in Hero for Salman Khan. Hero is an upcoming action film directed by Nikhil Advani and co-written with Umesh Bist starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

Jacqueline Fernandez was approached earlier to do an item number in Hero. However, the dates were not matching. The actress somehow worked out her dates and finally accepted the offer.

A source says, "They had a discussion about the song, but things came to a head as Jacqueline has committed her dates to another project. Later, however, she worked out her dates and informed Salman that she will do it."

She is doing an item number for Salman Khan as she thinks he is her mentor and has given her second chance in the industry through the movie Kick.

Hero is scheduled to release on July 3, 2015.
