Kangana Ranaut's Blunt Reply To Deepika Padukone's Praising Words

Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone are undoubtedly two of the most successful Bollywood actresses of the current era and for good reasons.

While, Kangana rose to fame with films like Queen and Tanu Weds Manu, Deepika made it large with multiple box office hits like Chennai Express and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Bollywood has witnessed several cat fights till date and going by the current trend, it seems a fresh one is in the making and this time it involves Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone.

Deepika sometime back won an award which she sportingly dedicated to her saying that Kangana deserved it more. While, this sweet gesture by Deepika was praised by all, apparently it didn't impress Kangana much.

In an interview, Kangana Ranaut was asked to express her thoughts on Deepika Padukone dedicating award to her and the confident actress seemed quite blunt in her reply.

"I knew I was getting the award. I chose not to go there and there is a reason behind it. And I did get genuine compliments from Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan who called me directly. Even, Amitabh sir and Priyanka called me directly. But Deepika never called me directly. We met a couple of times and she is someone I have highest regards for. I respect her as a contemporary and as an actress but I have to be honest about things and I can't be someone else," stated Kangana.

So, did Kangana mean Deepika's praising words for her were not genuine? Well, we wonder how Deepika would respond to this, if at all she responds.
