OMG! Kangana Ranaut To Become A Mother?
The Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, might play the role of an 85-year-old woman in her next, and is in talks with film-maker Shekhar Kapur about the offer.
Kangana Ranaut, was in Mumbai for the, Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI) and was quoted as saying to reporters,
"I am offered a role of an 85-year-old by Shekhar Kapur. We are in talks for it... We are still working out things. It is a challenging role."
Shekar Kapur, is currently working on his upcoming film titled Paani, and Kangana says, she has not been approached for Paani but has a new offer from Shekar. Kangana was quoted as saying,
"I am looking forward to play older roles. I don't understand why people look down upon older roles. I saw a film Amour about old people... That film changed my view about them."
Kangana Ranaut, confirms that she loves to play the role of a mother on-screen, as the role looks the purest. "Also I would be ok to play mother roles. They are the purest, and beautiful to play on screen." says Kangana Ranaut.
Kangana Ranaut, rose to fame after the success of Queen, in which she goes on a solo honeymoon to France, after being ditched by her boyfriend. She ends up making a lot of new friends and have one helluva time all by herself.
The Queen actress, then played a double role in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, opposite Madhavan, which was a blockbuster hit. The movie tickled a lot of funny bones and Kangana proved that she was here to stay in Bollywood.
