Kangana Ranaut's Journey From Zero To Hero

Kangana Ranaut entered Bollywood with the movie Gangster in 2006 opposite Emraan Hashmi. Though the movie was a superhit, Kangana still had to overcome a lot of struggles to make a serious mark in the industry.

The actress faced every bad situation in life and says, "When I came to Mumbai, I was a small-town girl, and didn't know anything. But here I am today, utilising all those things and making a difference on such a big platform. Everything that worked against me initially has turned in my favour,"

When asked how to overcome life's challenges thrown at you, Kangana says,

"What matters is the way you think...Just love yourself, and don't subject yourself to comparisons. I started utilising everything as a boon, as opposed to thinking, why is my hair curly? Why don't I have blue eyes? Why am I not 5'11 or why am I not an expat?. When I started looking at the obstacles like boons, everything changed."

The Queen actress who earns the highest in Bollywood as of now, had to travel in buses, trains, taxis and even walked a lot to reach her destinations. She says,

"I have slept on the pavement, since I didn't have a house. I have been caught in traps, so I had to lodge complaints against people. I have seen the ugly side. On the other hand, I have also been awarded by the President twice, and I am the highest paid actress today."

Kangana Ranaut says the only way to come up in life is to be yourself and stop comparing ourselves to other people,
