Madhur Talks About Calendar Girl Deepika Padukone Making It Big In Bollywood

Madhur Bhandarkar's Calendar Girls has been drawing a lot of attention from when the official trailer released. The director has shown the dark side of the glamourous world and people are quite impressed!

When the director was questioned about his source of inspiration for the movie, the answer was quite simple, Vijay Mallya, he said, "I have got the idea of making the movie from Vijay Mallya. He knows I am making the movie. He asked me about it. The last that I spoke to him was 20 days back. And I shall show him the movie as soon as I get my print. His contribution is a lot in the movie."

When quizzed about, how much portion of his movie is real, he said, ""75% is real and 25%is fictional. Reality is harsh and to show that we have to take care of. I have to keep my relations also safe hence I cannot show certain things. It is inspired by few calendar girls, photographers. I have researched much on them. People were reluctant to talk initially. But what I have shown is the tip of the iceberg."

Finally talking about the real life calendar girls in Bollywood, he said, "Not just Deepika there are many other actresses who have made it big in the industry despite being calendar girls. You need to watch the movie to know what all I have included."
