Muslim Group Objects To Annu Kapoor's Cap In Dharam Sankat Mein

Fuwad Khan's Dharam Sankat Mein has been embroiled in a controversy over its religious content. Certain Muslim groups have raised objections to Annu Kapoor's cap in Dharam Sankat Mein.

Annu Kapoor is seen sporting a cap in the film that resembled a Muslim cap or a ‘taqiyah' that seem to have irked certain section of the Muslim community.

The group argued that showing the actor with 'taqiyah' is offensive and they won't allow that to happen. Not just that, the community met IMPAA (Indian Motion Picture Producer's Association) to convey their grievances.

On the other side, Dharam Sankat Mein stars Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal have come out in defense of their film stating there's nothing objectionable in the film and whatever shown in it are factually correct.

Nevertheless, IMPAA has sent a letter to the makers of the movie Dharam Sankat Mein asking them to incorporate the changes to avoid any more controversy, until it releases.
