National Awards: Kangana Ranaut Bags Her 2nd Award

Kangana Ranaut is on cloud nine now as she bagged in Best Actress Award for the film Queen in the 62nd National Awards. As a matter of fact, this is Kangana's second national award after she won the Best Supporting Actress for the film Fashion in 2008.

Kangana this time won the award for her brilliant performance in the film Queen which proved to be one of the best women oriented films in the recent past.

Kangana Ranaut who will soon be seen in the film Tanu Weds Manu 2, has become one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood after the film Queen.

Kangana has joined the list of other highest National Award winning actresses like Shabana Azmi and Smita Patel. The actress who won the most number of national awards are Shabana Azmi with five wins. She is followed by Malayalam actress, Sharada with three. As of Smita Patil, Archana, Shobana and Tabu have won the award twice and Kangana just landed in the list.
