By Vinod D'souza

Priyanka Chopra, now an international star, and is in the US for the shoot of her television series Quantico. The actress, recently flew down to India just for a day to promote her upcoming movie, Bajirao Mastani, starring alongside Ranverer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The Bajirao Mastani actress, was bombarded with questions about intolerance and aksed about her stance on Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan's intolerance statements about India. However, the international media, had a total different set of questions for Priyanka Chopra, and it's really sad.

PeeCee, reveals that she was asked bizarre questions by the international media about rapes in the country, which left her stunned. Priyanka Chopra, was quoted as saying,

"The most bizarre question I have been asked is that India is known for its rapes. Can you imagine? I get asked that in every interview. It is so difficult to defend it. But you know it is about educating the world."

Priyanka Chopra, further commented on the issue by saying,

"It is about educating the fact that the light has been come upon this and yes it is an awful thing but it is happening to women around the world and why are we not talking about that. Just because three people have come and talked about my country, don't come and attack it. I will give you five other countries to talk about but it is not about that. Why are we making the fight about why rapes are more? We should fight about the fact that there are rapes. Let's get our perspectives right."

Priyanka Chopra's reaction is right and to the point, nobody can defend it and violence against women should be stopped not only in India, but also all around the world.

PeeCee's Bajirao Mastani, is all set to hit the theatres on December 18, 2015. The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
