Radhika
Apte
was
in
news
somedays
back
after
a
clip
went
viral
in
which
the
actress
is
seen
making
a
dare-to-bare
act
for
a
short
film.
Although,
Radhika
kept
mum
on
the
controversy,
director
Anurag
Kashyap
clarified
the
issue
and
now
Shweta
Basu
Prasad
also
came
up
in
her
defence.
The
leaked
video
clip
was
apparently
a
part
of
a
short
film
directed
by
Anurag
Kashyap
for
an
international
audience
and
the
director
expressed
strong
displeasure
at
the
clip
being
leaked.
Now,
Shweta
Basu
Prasad
who
sometimes
back
was
also
in
news
in
regard
to
a
sex
scandal,
has
spoken
up
on
Radhika
Apte's
leaked
clip.
Shweta
Basu
stated
that
she
was
with
Radhika
Apte
when
the
scene
was
being
shot
and
asserted
that
the
scene
has
nothing
sexual
and
was
shot
with
utmost
cautiousness.
"I
was
there
when
it
was
shot.
I
assisted
Anurag
on
this
film
and
I
am
very
proud
of
it.
The
nude
shot
was
done
so
carefully.
It
was
asexual,
innocent
and
beautiful.
It
is
completely
stripped
of
a
sexual
content," said
Shweta
Basu
Prasad.
Shweta
also
praised
both
the
director
and
the
actress
for
shooting
the
sequence.
"Anurag
made
sure
that
there
was
no
except
two
women,
one
of
them
being
me,
on
the
sets.
Anurag
has
a
daughter
and
he
is
deeply
sensitive
to
issues
regarding
the
violation
of
a
woman's
private
space.
I
salute
him
for
shooting
the
sequence
so
sensitively
and
I
salute
Radhika
for
doing
what
she
did.
It
was
shameful
to
tear
it
out
of
context
and
use
it
for
titillation,"
added
Shweta.
