A
few
weeks
back,
Bollywood
director,
Ram
Gopal
Varma
took
to
Twitter
to
express
his
views
on
the
head
of
the
Dera
Sacha
Sauda,
Saint
Gurmeet
Ram
Rahim
Singh
Ji
Insaan
and
his
blockbuster
movie
MSG
-
The
Messenger,
which
has
earned
Rs
126
Cr
in
just
two
weeks.
The
director,
who
already
has
a
complaint
lodged
against
him
for
his
tweet
about
Lord
Ganesha
on
Ganesh
Chaturthi,
once
again
managed
to
hurt
the
religious
sentiments
with
his
insensitive
tweets
about
the
Dera
Sacha
Sauda
head.
This
offended
the
followers
and
instigated
one
particular
devotee,
Jasbir
Singh
of
Ludhiana's
Lohara
village,
to
file
a
first
information
report
(FIR)
against
the
director
at
Daba
village
under
Section
298
(uttering
words
to
hurt
religious
sentiments)
of
the
Indian
Penal
Code
(IPC)
and
Section
66
(sending
offensive
messages
through
communication
services
and
devices)
of
the
Information
Technology
Act.
Varma
tweeted
openly
on
February
13
about
the
release
of
the
saint's
hit
movie,
MSG
-
The
Messenger
where
in
he,
in
a
series
of
tweets,
spoke
negatively
about
the
movie
as
well
as
about
Saint
Gurmeet
Ram
Rahim
Singh
Ji
Insaan
making
use
of
certain
offensive
words.
Several
staunch
devotees,
Jasbir
Singh
along
with
his
fellow
Dera
followers,
were
deeply
disturbed
about
the
objectionable
language
used
against
the
Dera
head.
The
inspector
of
the
Daba
police
station
lodged
the
complaint
and
ensured
the
terribly
upset
follower
that
the
police
would
do
all
it
could
to
ensure
justice.
