Ranbir Kapoor's Daddy Regrets Not Being Friends With His Son

Ranbir Kapoor is currently one of the most popular actors of Bollywood and so was his father Rishi Kapoor during his era.

While, it is supposed that Ranir Kapoor shares a very friendly relationship with his daddy cool, Rishi Kapoor negates the same in an interview.

Rishi Kapoor recently talked in length about his relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and the veteran actor says he regrets that he never been a friend to his son.

When asked whether he is the same kind of father that Raj Kapoor was to him, Rishi Kapoor said, " Out of respect I was always very scared of my father. I don't know about Ranbir. Of course he respects me but I have never been friends with him and that is my biggest drawback."

Rabir Kapoor's daddy cool further says that he regrets not having a friendly relationship with the Junior Kapoor.

"It's a deep regret but again, I don't know. Only time will tell if it is something that's good or not. I used to drink with my dad, though out of respect, I never smoked in front of him. Similarly, I can share a drink with Ranbir but he doesn't smoke in front of me, though I know he smokes. I never made friends with Ranbir and though I regret it, I am also not one of those guys who world want to be on back-slapping terms with my son," said Rishi Kapoor.
