Revealed! This Actor Would Play The Salman Khan In Sultan
Salman Khan, would play the role of a 30-year-old wrestler in his upcoming movie, Sultan. The actor, would also be seen as a young wrestler in the flashback scenes. The role of younger Salman Khan, would be played by none other than the, Koi Po Che star, Amit Sadh.
Yes, Amit Sadh, has been roped in for Sultan, and would play the character of the young Salman Khan. Amit, would have a pivotal role in the movie and showcase the flashback days of the wrestler.
A source close to the movie was quoted as saying,
"While Salman would be seen playing the 30-plus Sultan, it was felt by the producers that Amit would be a suitable candidate to play the younger avatar of the wrestler. Physically, he is very similar to Salman. Also they have similar facial features - big eyes and broad face - so it is actually quite a smart casting choice."
Sultan, is the movie about a wrestler named Sultan Ali Khan. The character, is a three-time State-Champion from Haryana, and wrestling is more than just a sport to him.
Now that the younger Salman Khan is played by Amit Sadh, the lead actress in Sultan has not been finalized yet. Rumours were doing rounds that Deepika Padukone or Kangana Ranaut would be roped in for Sultan; however all these rumours were rubbished by the film-makers.
Amit Sadh, debuted in Bollywood through the horror movie, Phoonk 2, which released in the year 2010. Phoonk 2, did moderately well at the box office and was directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Amit Sadh, came into the limelight through the movie Kai Po Che, in 2013, which did well at the box office.
Salman Khan starrer Sultan, is slated to be released during Eid, 2016. The movie, would clash with Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees.
