Riteish Deshmukh Defends Salman Khan On Yakub Memon Controversy?

Salman Khan got into a lot of trouble with his recent tweets about Yakub Memon getting hanged. He drew so much of flak and attention from public that within no time it became of a topic of national discussion.

None of the industry insiders backed him and neither did his father, Salim who said that he doesn't support Salman's feelings and revealed that his son did not know much about the issue.

Salim even asked Salman to retract his tweets, post which he deleted the concerned tweet. The media, news channels, social networking sites, pretty much everywhere Salman has become a topic of discussion.

People even went on to say that only a convict can support another convict and so Salman's bail from the hit and run case should be revoked.

At such a time when no one backed Salman, here came Riteish Deshmukh who didn't say what Sallu did was right but told that after Salman realised his mistake and apologized, people should let go of it.

He told, "Every person should have their opinion. What Salman tweeted he felt it is wrong and deleted it. Accept it. Yes, sometimes Bollywood stars become soft target."

Pulkit who was with Riteish when he chose to speak about Salman preferred to keep mum about the issue.
