Salman Khan Reveals His Struggle Story In Bollywood Before He Became A Star

Unlike many of the star kids, Salman Khan could not cash in on his father's celebrity status in Bollywood. In spite of being a star kid, he worked hard, struggled and has obtained the superstar status he has today, all on his own.

Salim Khan is a noted writer in Bollywood but never did he once refer his son to a producer or director, instead he would recommend other actors like Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol.

Salman revealed to a leading daily, that his father, Salim Khan would recommend Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt or Kumar Gaurav's names to producers but never his.

When he asked the reason, Salim said that none of the producers or directors came to him asking for his son and therefore he never referred. Salim felt that they should notice Salman and cast him.

Salman further revealed that nothing ever happened like how his dad said and so he went out looking for work. His father not once stepped in and helped him to be a actor.

Sometimes we just assume a star kid gets all the royal treatment, may be that's why Salman Khan is so helpful to people around him and helps the talented ones to make a debut in the industry.
