Shahid Kapoor Wedding : Shahid Too Shy To Apply Mehendi On His Hands

Bollywood Heartthrob Shahid Kapoor's pre-wedding functions are going on full swing. Few moments back, we came to know that our groom-to-be- Shahid was too shy to apply mehendi on his hand during the mehendi ceremony.

While, Shasha felt shy, the team of mehendiwalis revealed few things about Mira and her mehendi design. Read below, what they have to say.

"She is so sober and simple and so are her choices. She is so delicate, so we decided to put a very intricate mehendi design on her soft hands." the mehendi artist told Deccan Chronicle.

The mehendi ceremony took place at Mira Rajput's Chhatarpur house, earlier today. According to the leading daily, the mehendiwalis were called specially from Chandni Chowk for the mehendi ceremony of Shahid and Mira.

As is the custom, when asked about drawing Shahid's initials on Mira's hand, one of them said, "Oh yes, without that (drawing Shahid's initials) no Dulhan mehendi is complete. It is a Shagun and is symbolic of love and dedication towards one's partner."

We all know in Indian marriages, applying mehendi is a custom not restricted to the brides but the grooms too and when Shasha's turn came, he shied away. Awww!
