Shahrukh Khan in deep trouble owing to his comments against the restriction of Pakistani actors working in India. The Dilwale actor who usually avoids such controversial topics has formed new enemies owing to his comments.
On this birthday, when Shahrukh Khan was asked to comment, he said, "It is stupid... It is stupid to be intolerant and this is our biggest issue, not just an issue... Religious intolerance and not being secular in this country is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot," he said.
He further added, "People put words into the air even before thinking and here is a secular country. Here's a country perhaps for the last 10 years that is on the cusp of going beyond what we think."
The actor even opened about his fear of voicing his opinion on issues, as it may land him in trouble, "We may talk about freedom of speech, but people come outside my house and throw stones," he said.
"Shah Rukh Khan is an agent of neighbouring country Pakistan as he reflects their (Pakistan's) ideology. Such a man should go to Pakistan," she said.
It is very humiliating to see such leaders make such horrific accusations against a star whose mere fault was to stand up for those artists who are working in our country.
At a time of globalism, such backward thinking leaders bring shame by discriminating Indians and Pakistanis. Hopefully the country's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi makes the required changes and gets rid of such nuisance causing people.
