BA Pass Actress Shikha Joshi Commits Suicide Due To Lack Of Work

Model-turned actress Shikha Joshi has committed suicide on Saturday evening and as reported, she took the drastic step owing to lack of work.

Shikha who was seen in the film B A Pass (2012) was found with her neck sliced at her apartment in Mumbai, which she shared with a friend.

As reported, the incident happened at around 6.30 pm on Saturday when she took a knife and locked herself up in the bathroom.
Senior Inspector, Ravindranath Pawar has been quoted as saying, "A few minutes later, a room-mate knocked on the bathroom door asking to come out. The room-mate asked Joshi why she was taking so long inside. When the door was opened, her neck was covered in blood."

The police official further stated, "On the way to the hospital, Joshi was conscious and was able to walk. When the room-mate asked why she cut herself, Joshi said that she was frustrated because she could not get any work."

"The smaller marks on her neck indicate her first attempt as committing suicide. They also show that a person gets cold feet at the last minute before finally committing the act. Had she been attacked by someone with a knife, there would be only one long cut. The nature of the cuts on the neck makes us believe that this is a suicide," the official added.
