It
seems
like
Shahrukh
Khan's
'religious
intolerance'
comment,
which
he
made
during
the
media
greet
on
his
50th
birthday(November
2),
did
not
go
well
with
BJP
senior
leader,
Kailash
Vijayvargiya
and
as
a
result,
the
politician
end
up
making
some
shocking
statements
against
Shahrukh
Khan.
Shahrukh
in
an
interview
had
said,
"It
is
stupid...
It
is
stupid
to
be
intolerant
and
this
is
our
biggest
issue,
not
just
an
issue...
Religious
intolerance
and
not
being
secular
in
this
country
is
the
worst
kind
of
crime
that
you
can
do
as
a
patriot.
People
put
words
into
the
air
even
before
thinking
and
here
is
a
secular
country.
Here's
a
country
perhaps
for
the
last
10
years
that
is
on
the
cusp
of
going
beyond
what
we
think."
Slamming
the
actor,
the
former
cabinet
minister
posted
on
Twitter
and
said,
"Shah
Rukh
Khan
lives
in
India,
but
his
heart
is
in
Pakistan.
His
films
make
crores
here
but
India
seems
intolerant
to
him."
He
added,
"Shah
Rukh's
tune
is
to
sing
with
Pakistan
and
these
forces
against
India.
When
hundreds
were
killed
in
Bombay
in
1993,
then
where
was
Shah
Rukh
Khan?
When
Mumbai
26/
11
attack
was
where
Shah
Rukh?"
Responding
to
Kailash
Vijayvargiya's
remarks,
Union
Minister
Prakash
Javadekar
said
"Mr
Vijayvargiya
was
not
a
party
spokesperson.
I
condemn
his
comments
outright."
