Sonakshi Sinha has always been quite vocal about most of the socially-relevant issues and the issue of women empowerment is always a hot debate in India.

And the issue of women empowerment is currently trending after Deepika Padukone's video 'My Choice' became viral.

Recently, Deepika Padukone released her video entitled 'My Choice' as a part of Vogue Empower initiative for women empowerment in which Deepika made some bold statements regarding the rights and choices of women.

The video got a warm response from everywhere and now the latest B-Town diva to advocate women empowerment is non other than Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha.

Sonakshi, who was present at a car launch event in Mumbai explained the broader aspect of women empowerment rather than restricting it to clothes and sex.

'Women empowerment is not always about what clothes you would like to wear or who you want to have sex with," said the Lootera actress.

Earlier, many other actresses including Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra have come forward to support women empowerment and the latest to join the board is Sonakshi Sinha.
