Tanu Weds Manu Returns Release Preponed For Dil Dhadakne Do

Makers of Kangana Ranaut's upcoming movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns have preponed the release of the film, apparently to avoid any clash with Dil Dhadakne Do.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns was supposed to release on May 29th but the film's release has now been preponed by a week.

Trailer of Kangana Ranaut's Tanu Weds Manu Returns and multi-starrer Dil Dhadakne Do were launched recently and both the trailers received a thumbs up from all ends.

Both the films happen to be much awaited ones and following the release of the trailer, the excitement has further hiked up.

Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and Anil Kapoor is slated to release on June 5th and thus, release of Kangana Ranaut's Tanu Weds Manu Returns has been preponed to May 22nd.

Director of Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Anand L Rai confirmed the news saying that the decision was made by Eros International which is the producer for DDD as well.

"I think Eros has a packed year in 2015. thay are also the overseas distributors of Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, which opens on June 5. So, they probably wanted to avoid any clash of interest. I am okay with the preponement. Just that we have to work faster to meet the new deadline," said Anand Rai.
