It's Confirmed: Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt Get Shuddhi

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's chemistry is one of the most liked ones in the industry and fans will be delighted to know that the duo will feature together again in a much awaited film.

We are talking about Karan Johar's Shuddhi and it is confirmed that Varun and Alia have been cast for the film.

There has been much speculations regarding the cast of Shuddhi. Initially, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were supposed to feature in Shuddhi but for some reasons they backed out from the project.

Then, it was touted that Karan Johar has cast Salman Khan for Shuddhi which also proved to be just rumours. Finally, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have been chosen for the film.

Karan Johar confirmed the news by a post on Twitter saying, "And finally..SHUDDHI starring VARUN DHAWAN and ALIA BHATT...directed by KARAN MALHOTRA..@Varun_dvn @aliaa08 @karanmalhotra21 @DharmaMovies (sic)".

In fact, Salman Khan also congratulated Varun Dhawan with a tweet for bagging Shuddhi as he posted, "Kamaal karte ho Varun Dhawan...made ur dad n me so proud of u... happy Shhuddhi (sic)".
