Vidya
Balan's
absence
from
the
nominations
list
at
this
year's
award
season,
despite
a
good
performance
in
'Bobby
Jasoos',
came
as
a
surprise
to
the
film's
producer
Dia
Mirza
but
the
actress
says
she
has
no
regrets
about
not
getting
a
nod.
The
37-year-old
actress
dominated
awards
shows
in
previous
years
with
her
performance
in
films
like
'Dirty
Picture',
'Paa'
and
'Kahaani'.
"Obviously
it
is
our
film
so
we
all
feel
about
the
nomination.
Glad
to
know
that
so
many
good
films
were
there
in
2014
that
they
are
finding
it
difficult
to
nominate.
I
have
no
regrets
about
not
getting
nominated," Vidya
said
at
an
event
last
night.
Dia
had
earlier
taken
to
twitter
to
express
her
disappointment
over
the
snub
given
to
the
film,
about
a
small-town
girl's
aspirations
to
become
a
detective.
"Articles,
reviews
stated
that
her
performance
was
excellent.
But
when
it
came
to
nominations
she
was
completely
ignored.
Why?
I
have
always
celebrated
the
achievements
of
my
industry/colleagues
and
I
will
continue
to.
But
I
ask,
why
has
#VidyaBalan
been
ignored," the
actress-producer
had
tweeted.
Vidya,
however,
said
that
she
still
believes
in
awards.
"I
have
been
the
recipient
of
many
awards
and
I
believe
in
them.
Awards
are
appreciations
from
the
audience
and
fraternity,"
she
said.
