Vidya Balan Talks About Casting Couch In Bollywood

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has impressed us all with her performances in films like Kahaani, The Dirty Picture, No One Killed Jessica among others.

However, Vidya Balan has been lucky enough that she never came across anything like casting couch to climb up the stairs of success. Bobby Jasoos actress Vidya Balan says that her passion for acting saved her from becoming victim of casting couch in Bollywood.

"I am very fortunate that I never came across anything like casting couch or exploitation. This was all because I was very passionate about acting but not desperate about work," said Vidya Balan.

The actress further added, "In all these years nobody said any such thing that world hurt me. Most importantly, I didn't let anybody do anything wrong to me."

Vidya Balan who has become an established Bollywood actress also has an advise for the new-comers so that they don't fall prey to the ill practice called casting couch.

"No role or film is the end of the world. It could be the beginning but it's never the end. It depends on you. Even if something like casting couch has happened to you, then don't be harsh on yourselves," opined Vidya Balan.
