Watch: Deepika Padukone In New #VogueEmpower Short Film 'My Choice'

Watch the short film made by director Homi Adajania along with Deepika Padukone and other 98 other women which is dedicated to #VogueEmpower, Vogue India's social awareness initiative.

You can see Deepika Padukone say, "It is my choice to live life the way I want, to wear clothes I like, to decide how I want my body to be, when I want to get married or if I ever want to walk down the aisle, to decide if I want to be straight or a lesbian."

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the black and white video features the 29-year-old actress calling for a change in the mindset of men about women and stop judging.

Deepika says, "In my family, my father is the only male in the house, but all of us have a voice."

"I've always been allowed to be who I want to be. When you're not caged, when you don't succumb to expectation, that's when you're empowered," says the bold actress who confessed about going through depression on National television.

"I liked the idea of telling people I originally had 100 women planned but God said the last one was too busy right now," says Homi Adajania.

In the video, women like Nimrat Kaur, Adhuna Akhtar, Anupama Chopra, Scherezade Shroff and many more speak about their right as women.
