What Made Alia Leave Her House?

Last year, Ranbir was in the gossip columns for leaving his parents' house and moving out with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Following the footsteps of Ranbir Kapoor, the "Highway" girl, Alia also has decided to move out from her protective fathers' home.

It seems Alia has strongly made her mind to live a life on her own. According to the reports, she has found her new house at a shouting distance from her parents' house. And the home interior designing is taken care by her mom Soni Razdan along with Alia's grandfather who is an architect.

Alia has mentioned in an earlier interview "I have thought about living all by myself. But I'm scared that my decision might not work for me. The one person I always want to see when I get back home is my mother.".

But recently, she was found saying "It's all very new and unexplored for me. All my life, I've lived with my parents. Now I need my own place. I made sure I got a place very close to my parents' home. You step out of my old home and you step into the new home."

And guess who Alia is shifting with, to her new home. We are sure you must be thinking of her beau Sidharth Malhotra. But it eems like Alia needs a lot of guts to do that. So currently she is moving out with her sister Shaheen.

The only person who is joyless with her decision is her father Mahesh Bhatt, even if Alia is just a breath away from him. In fact Alia tried to convince her father, but Mr. Bhatt insisted that there must be a room for him. It is truly said, Dads will be dads!
