Good News! Aamir Khan's Dangal To Be Tax Free In Uttar Pradesh!

The Akhilesh Yadav-led government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to give tax free status to Aamir Khan's upcoming film Dangal, which is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat. The tax exemption in a big state like Uttar Pradesh will give a significant boost to the film in the crucial first week at the domestic box office.

It is reported that other states, especially Haryana, from where the Phogat family hails, are likely to follow Uttar Pradesh and award the tax free status to the film in the coming days.

Going by the previous tax free movies, the earlier a film gets tax exemption the better as the audiences really gear up to watch the film when they realize that it's tax free beforehand. Also, more than 60-65% of the business is generated in the first week at the box office.

Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is all set to be released on December 23, 2016. Aamir Khan's films are the most awaited films of the year and his fans are very sure that the actor will never let them down in terms of entertainment and quality films.
