    New mommy Rani Mukerji is busy these days with her daughter Adira. But despite her busy schedule she took out some time to attend Durga Puja in Mumbai recently. Rani had been avoiding the media for quite sometime but at the puja she happily posed for them.

    The actress had gained a bit of weight, because of post delivery fat but even after that she is looking stunning in her latest pictures. You can check out the beautiful pictures of Rani in a white saree below.

    Rani Mukerji attended the Durga Puja recently without her daughter Adira. The actress looked beautiful in her traditional attire at the event.

    Weight Gain

    Even with her post pregnancy weight, Rani Mukerji looked very pretty at the Durga Puja. The diva attends this event every year.

    Actor Rani Mukerji celebrated Sindur Khela after participating in a Durga Puja program at North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti, in Mumbai.

    What caught our eye more was Rani Mukerji's plain off white silk saree with dark maroon border and blouse. She highlighted her Indian look with Raani haar necklace and big polki earrings!

    For all the Rani Mukerji fans, the actress will soon be making a comeback and has already signed up for a film. The untitled film is said to be a biopic that will give out a social message.

    According to a report in a leading daily, "Rani plays the central lead in Siddharth's film. Like Mardaani, this one too will deal with a strong social issue. He narrated the script to Adi first and then Rani. They both loved it and Adi will produce the film. Siddharth, Adi and Rani have been meeting and working out the project regarding dates et al."

    Directed by We Are Family director Siddharth P Malhotra, it will be produced by her husband Aditya Chopra, who owns Yash Raj Films.

    It has been reported that Rani Mukerji will begin shooting for the film only after Adira turns a year old. The film is expected to go on floors in the second half of 2017.

    Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mardaani.
