Akshay Kumar in Dubai spent time enjoying the company of Salma Hayek while Parineeti Chopra was blown away by Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey.

Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar were in Dubai for a private gala dinner on March 13th night, in support of the Global Teacher Prize.

Salma Hayek and Matthew McConaughey as well as Korean-American singer Eric Nam and Moroccan singer Hatim Ammor were present at the event.

The Global Teacher Prize is an annual $1 million award that is given to an exceptional teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to his/her profession.

Akshay Kumar posted a selfie with Salman Hayek on his Twitter and Facebook timeline with the caption, "Selfie of a lifetime... Honouring all the Teachers around the World, #TeachersMatter in Dubai! @salmahayek."

Meanwhile Parineeti Chopra's picture with Matthew McConaughey got photo-bombed by Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, nonetheless, she uploaded the picture with the caption, "Rab ne bana di jodiiiii .. Me and @McConaughey !!! But photobombed !!! @juniorbachchan @akshaykumar."

Pakistani singer Ali Zafar who has made quite a big name in Bollywood, both in the acting and singing field performed at the event. He posted a selfie with these Hollywood stars on his Twitter timeline with a caption, "Performing at @GESForum in Dubai for a great cause ! @salmahayek @juniorbachchan @MathewMcConahey @ParineetiChopra."

Ten finalists attended the winner-announcement ceremony tonight at the Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF). This will be followed by an invite-only red-carpet and gala event at Atlantis the Palm, where celebrities will show their support.

Abhishek Bachchan who was also at the event posted a picture with Akshay and captioned it Houseful boys, for the actors will be soon seen in their upcoming flick Housefull 3 which has a huge ensemble cast.
