Rumour Has It: Akshay Kumar And Sonam Kapoor To Star In R. Balki’s Next?

R. Balki's last outing Ki & Ka starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan didn't work wonders at the box office. Now, the director has started working on his next film.

A couple of days back, there were rumours that he is collaborating with Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan for a film. However, the film-maker brushed off these speculations as mere rumours.

Now, as per the latest development we hear that his next is indeed starring Akshay Kumar. As per a Filmfare report, Sonam Kapoor has been finalized to play the leading lady. The two actors had previously starred together in Anees Bazmee's Thank You.

Meanwhile, Akshay already has a string of releases coming up next which include Jolly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0 and Crack. On the other hand, Sonam whose last film Neerja won her rave reviews has Veerey Di Wedding co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
