Ira
Dubey,
who
plays
Alia
Bhatt's
BFF
(Best
Friends
Forever)
in
Gauri
Shinde's
Dear
Zindagi
says
that
Alia
has
done
a
fantastic
job
in
the
film.
Talking
about
the
film,
Alia
Bhatt
and
director
Gauri
Shinde,
Ira
told
Mumbai
Mirror,
''Gauri
Shinde
is
an
extremely
positive,
encouraging
and
grounded
director.
I
always
say
that,
in
a
film
the
captain
of
the
ship
is
the
director
and
everybody
follows
his/her
vision.
I
think
that
Gauri
has
done
a
marvellous
job.
I
feel
very
proud
to
be
a
part
of
this
film.
Alia
has
done
a
fantastic
job
and
we
had
a
blast
shooting.''
Ira
Dubey
further
added,
''The
friendship
between
Alia
and
me
in
the
film
is
the
one
that
grows
out
of
workplace.
We
work
together
and
we
become
friends.
It
is
a
very
genuine
and
solid
friendship.
And
it
is
something
a
lot
of
people
will
relate
to
including
strong
and
independent
women
of
today
who
juggle
a
lot
of
things
but
are
still
there
for
each
other.''
When
asked,
''You
became
great
friends
with
Alia
on
the
sets?" Ira
said,
''Not
only
with
Alia,
but
with
the
whole
gang.
While
doing
a
film,
the
team
unit
becomes
like
a
family.
It
isn't
as
if
we
are
best
friends
and
are
calling
each
other
every
day,
but
we
are
friends,
of
course.''
''During
the
screening
also,
a
lot
of
seniors
from
the
industry
were
congratulating
Alia
and
she
kept
asking
me
if
I
was
happy
and
I
said
of
course
I
am
very
happy,'' she
added.
