Alia Bhatt: The Industry Is Not All About Star Kids, It's About Talent!
Alia Bhatt revealed that the film industry is not all about 'star kids' but it's about talent. She said if they are talented they go places, if there's no talent you'll not get anywhere in Bollywood.
The
term
'star
kids'
is
given
to
newcomers
whose
parents
are
from
the
industry
and
the
name
is
a
heavy
baggage
to
carry.
There
are
some
pros
when
it
comes
to
being
a
star
kid
as
they
get
good
roles
from
top
film-makers,
but
the
same
'star
kids'
badge
ends
up
having
a
lot
of
expectations
and
if
you
fail
to
deliver,
the
audiences
end
up
shaming
the
actor.
The
bubbly
Alia
Bhatt
opened
up
about
the
issue
of
star
kids
and
said
that
the
film
industry
does
not
care
about
star
kids
but
only
about
talent,
as
that's
what
it
takes
to
move
ahead
in
life.
She
said,
"No,
the
industry
is
not
all
about
star
kids.
I
believe
the
industry
is
all
about
talent.
So
if
you
have
talent
you
will
be
in
actor
or
a
director
or
a
choreographer.
If
you
don't
have
talent,
you
won't
reach
anywhere.""
Alia
Bhatt
furthur
commented,
"You
will
get
the
first
opportunity.
Then
what?
But
at
the
end
of
the
day
the
audience
has
to
accept
you
and
want
to
watch
your
film.
That
will
happen
only
when
you
have
talent."
On
the
work
front
Alia
Bhatt
is
currently
shooting
for
Karan
Johar's
upcoming
film
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania
and
is
paired
alongside
Varun
Dhawan.
The
film
is
scheduled
to
hit
the
theatres
during
the
first
quarter
of
2017.
