Diwali
is
a
festival
of
joy,
celebrations
and
fire
crackers
and
everyone
has
a
great
time
with
their
family
and
friends.
However,
Anushka
Sharma
gets
a
little
worried
during
Diwali
as
she
feels
it's
unkind
to
dogs
as
the
sound
of
the
fire
crackers
makes
them
uncomfortable.
Anushka
has
a
dog
at
her
house
named
Dude
and
thankfully
she
has
protected
him
really
well
from
the
loud
noise.
Anushka
Sharma
was
quoted
as
saying
to
DNA,
"The
thing
is
I
live
on
the
20th
floor
and
I
have
kind
of
sound-proof
glasses
in
my
house.
So,
'Dude'
doesn't
suffer
as
much
as
other
animals
because
I
am
privileged
and
I
have
that
option,
but
I
know
it
benefits
Dude.
Even
then,
he
is
still
lethargic
during
Diwali
and
not
as
active
as
he
usually
is.
Not
just
him,
so
many
of
my
friends
and
their
dogs,
too,
face
a
lot
of
troubles.
I
spoke
to
a
lot
of
my
friends
and
people
on
sets
who
I
was
working
with
and
they
shared
their
stories
with
me.
The
whole
sight
of
it
is
just
so
sad."
When
asked
about
how
she
would
celebrate
the
festival
of
lights,
she
quipped,
"My
Diwali
is
always
a
very
simple
one.
We
have
a
pooja
at
home,
eating
and
spending
time
with
my
family
and
my
dog
Dude.
We
know
it's
a
holiday,
so
there's
not
going
to
be
work.
(Laughs)
Last
time,
I
didn't
dress
up,
but
this
time,
I
will
be
dressing
up
a
bit.
Friends
might
come
home."
Anushka
also
pleaded
people
to
avoid
bursting
fire
crackers.
She
said,
"But
I
have
one
thing
to
tell
all
the
people
-
please
don't
burst
crackers.
I
hate
it,
I
hate
it
because
it
harms
the
animals
and
I
feel
like
crying
watching
stray
dogs
who
get
so
scared
that
they
hide
in
gutters.
It's
so
sad.
My
heart
breaks
at
the
sight
of
it."
