Are Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli Getting Engaged? Here Is The Truth

Rumours were rife that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were going to get engaged on January 1, 2017 in a secret ceremony. The couple went to Dehradun for a vacation with their families and ever since then there have been speculations about their engagement.

However, Anushka Sharma's spokesperson refuted the rumours, and told a leading daily that the couple are not getting engaged, "The rumours surrounding Anushka and Virat's engagement are untrue. They are on vacation.''

Talking about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's vacation, a source told a web portal, "Many are saying that Virat is set to become the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand tourism and was personally invited by Chief Minister Harish Rawat. The CM wished him and Anushka a happy stay in his state. A grand bash has been planned for New Year's Eve which will be attended by all the celebs in town.''

The rumours of their engagement started when Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli arrived at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun on Christmas eve and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat welcomed the couple in a tweet, ''Welcome to #Uttarakhand @AnushkaSharma @imVkohli Hope you have memorable moments throughout your visit #VisitUttarakhand #UttarakhandTourism.''
