Bollywood's
tryst
with
recreate
iconic
songs
is
never
going
to
end!
After
recreating
'Samjhawan'
from
Pankaj
Batra's
Punjabi
film,
Virsa,
for
Shashank
Khaitan's
directorial
debut,
Humpty
Sharma
Ki
Dulhania,
Varun
Dhawan
and
Alia
Bhatt
will
now
be
grooving
to
a
new
version
of
Bappi
Lahiri's
"Tamma
Tamma" for
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania.
The
original
track
from
the
film,
Thanedaar
featured
Sanjay
Dutt
and
Madhuri
Dixit
showing
off
their
swagger
moves
and
was
a
huge
chartbuster
back
then.
Tanishk
Baagchi
who
has
composed
the
new
version
of
the
track
was
quoted
saying
to
Mumbai
Mirror,
"We
have
retained
the
original
voices
of
Bappi
Lahiri
and
Anuradha
Paudwal
but
also
added
Badshah
and
a
bit
of
rap.
It's
a
peppy
dance
track
with
the
music
slightly
altered
to
suit
current
trends."
The
dance
number
will
be
choreographed
by
Bosco-Caesar
and
will
go
on
floors
this
week.
Varun
and
Alia
kicked
off
the
film
in
Mumbai
in
May
before
moving
to
Jhansi,
Kota
and
Singapore.
As
per
a
leading
daily,
"This
story
begins
with
certain
hardships
the
couple
face
before
their
love
blossoms
in
Singapore."
In
an
earlier
interview,
Varun
had
revealed
that
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania
is
unlike
any
of
the
Dharma
films
and
has
lot
of
dark
twists.
