After a sultry 'Aao Raja' song in Akshay Kumar's Gabbar Is Back, Chitrangda Singh has now signed a new film. If reports are to be believed, then the gorgeous actress will be seen as a blingy jacket-leather pants-clad pop singer in Girish Malik's Band of Maharajas.
Chitrangda plays the lead named Billo Mumtaz. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, she has been attending multiple workshops - from violin classes to drumming and singing - to get under the skin of her character.
Band of Maharajas is scheduled to hit the shooting floors next week and the cast and crew will travel to Manali in 2017 for the film's second schedule.
Girish Malik had previously helmed the critically acclaimed movie, Jal whose plot revolved around an overconfident water diviner named Bakka (Purab Kohli), who tries to solve the drought problems in his village, but faces unforeseen circumstances when he tries to help a female bird watcher save flamingos.
Meanwhile, are you excited to see Chitrangda's new avatar?
