Amitabh
Bachchan
is
in
big
trouble.
The
actor
has
been
accused
of
not
singing
National
Anthem
in
the
proper
manner
at
the
India-Pakistan
match
held
in
Eden
Gardens
on
Saturday.
A
complaint
has
been
filed
against
the
actor
at
Ashok
Nagar
Police
station
in
New
Delhi
for
singing
the
Anthem
incorrectly.
The
complaint
reads
that
Big
B
mispronounced
words
and
duration
ran
for
1
minute
and
22
seconds
against
the
prescribed
52
seconds.
Before
this
controversy,
the
actor
was
accused
for
charging
money
to
sing
the
National
Anthem.
It
was
rumoured
on
social
media
that
he
had
charged
4
crores
as
his
appearance
fee.
Later
Cricket
Association
of
Bengal
president
Sourav
Ganguly
was
quoted
saying
that
Big
B
paid
Rs
30
lakhs
out
of
his
pocket
towards
stay
and
travel
cost
to
Kolkata.
"Mr
Bachchan
is
one
and
only,
a
special
person.
I
am
eternally
grateful
to
him.
Can
you
imagine
someone
paying
Rs
30
lakhs
of
his
own
pocket
to
perform?
He
booked
his
own
flight,
bought
his
own
tickets
and
even
paid
the
hotel
bills.
I
literally
begged
him
to
take
some
money
but
he
said
that
I
am
doing
it
for
love
and
there
is
no
question
of
money
being
involved," he
was
quoted
as
saying.
On
Sunday,
a
top
CAB
official
told
IANS,
"No,
Mr.
Amitabh
Bachchan
did
not
take
any
money
from
us."”
