Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh starrer Padmavati gets tight security to protect their 'looks' as director SLB does not want the leading actors' 'look' to be revealed to the public.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have started shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie Padmavati and the film has upped the ante in terms of security and secrecy as they want to protect the 'look' of Deepika in the film and not reveal it to the audiences now. SLB has made it clear that the on screen looks of both Deepika and Ranveer have to be kept a secret under all circumstances.
A source close to the movie was quoted as saying, "There has been speculation surrounding the look of each actor even before the film went on floors. Bhansali will be presenting them like never before, which is why the security will be quite tight on the sets."
The source further revealed, "Apart from raising the number of security personnel on the sets, Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid will be escorted from the sets to their vanity vans by guards in a makeshift tent."
"The actor (Deepika) went to the sets especially to wish luck to the entire team. Apparently, she had done the same for all her previous films helmed by Bhansali, including Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, irrespective of whether she was part of the first take or not."
