She says, "We have had very different beginnings. I still remember I was in school when she won Miss World! I've known her for many years and nothing has changed."

Deepika says, "Everyone will have a different path and a different journey. What she wants from her career will be very different from what I want and that needs to be understood and respected."

Talking about the same, she told, "I've never been driven by money. It has never been my priority or ambition. But it makes me happy to know that when I focus on the things that I love doing and I'm so passionate about, it can result in something like this."

Coming back to Deepika & Priyanka, one thing is clear, that both the ladies have carved a niche for themselves in the industry and both are here to stay! Be it the talent or beauty, neither Deepika nor Priyanka is inferior to the other.

The duo was last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical drama, Bajirao Mastani. In the film, Deepika portrayed the character of Mastani, while Priyanka, Kashibai. Ranveer Singh, who played the lead character of Bajirao, was seen romancing both the ladies in the film as one played the character of his wife, while the other, his lover!
The film received a spectacular response from the audiences as well as from the critics. Not just that, the camaraderie of Deepika & Priyanka in the song 'Pinga' was an instant hit among the girls.
