Deepika Padukone is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood today. The diva, who made a debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, says that she will always love him and is very protective about him.

Talking about her equation with Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone told a leading daily, "I find it ridiculous that people try to create a situation that doesn't exist. I will always love him. I am very protective of him, and I was really missing him when I tweeted.''

Deepika Padukone further added, ''We have done such special work together, and when we do films, promotions are something that we really look forward to because we have a lot of fun. I was missing him, and I know he was missing me. That's how well I know him. "Nothing can ever come in the way of that (her equation with SRK). Nobody can come in the way. It will never happen."

It was reported earlier that all is not well between Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone because of the clash between their films Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. But Deepika's tweet to Shahrukh put all the rumours to rest.

During the release of Bajirao Mastani also, Deepika Padukone had said that she is very fond of Shahrukh Khan, ''SRK is fond of me like I am of him. There is a very pure equation we share. We miss each other. I miss being in his films and being around him on sets. He has always been generous to me.''
