Breaking News! Pakistani artists Fawad Khan & Imran Abbas Naqvi were caught in a black money scam through a sting operation carried out by Network 18 Group.
Ae
Dil
Hai
Mushkil
actors
Fawad
Khan
and
Imran
Abbas
Naqvi
have
been
exposed
in
a
sting
operation
conducted
by
Network
18
Group
which
shows
Fawad
and
Imran's
managers
demanding
that
their
payment
be
made
in
both
black
and
white
money
for
an
appearance
of
two
hours
for
an
event.
For
those
of
you
who
are
confused
as
to
why
they
are
asking
for
'black
money'
when
they
can
transact
in
a
legal
way;
the
answer
to
it
is
taxes.
The
duo
would
show
white
money
on
papers
and
the
rest
of
the
black
money
would
go
directly
to
their
pockets
without
any
tax
being
paid
as
it
would
not
be
on
papers.
In
the
sting
operation
report
sent
out
by
News18,
Fawad
Khan's
manager
demanded
Rs
50
lakhs
for
a
two-hour
appearance
and
asked
the
payment
to
be
made
in
black
and
white.
The
black
money
had
to
be
25
percent
of
the
deal
amount
and
the
rest
was
to
be
transferred
to
Fawad
Khan's
UAE-based
bank
account.
Imran
Abbas
Naqvi's
manager
demanded
Rs
35
lakhs
for
a
two-hour
appearance,
with
Rs
32
lakhs
to
be
paid
in
black
and
only
Rs
3
lakhs
to
be
paid
in
white.
Given
that
all
the
Pakistani
artists
come
to
India
on
a
work
permit
obtained
through
the
Ministry
of
External
Affairs
(MEA)
for
professional
activities,
these
kinds
of
transactions
violate
the
law.
In
fact,
insistence
of
payment
in
black
money
also
violates
Service
Tax
and
Income
Tax
laws.
