61st Britannia Filmfare Awards was a night of glitz and glamour with a host of Bollywood celebrities marking their presence.
Shahrukh Khan was the main host of the Filmfare Awards 2016, co-hosting with him was Kapil Sharma who marked his debut in the Hindi film industry last year.
Salman Khan was seen performing on his recent movie songs while Ranveer Singh grooved to old songs of Shahrukh Khan. The night saw a number of winners but it was Bajirao Mastani that bagged 9 awards and emerged a winner.
Priyanka Chopra, who missed the event, turned out to be the first actress to win Filmfare in 5 different categories. She won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) award. She first won in 2004 as the Best Female Debut for the film Andaz. Then she went on to win the Best Performance in a Negative Role award for her performance in Aitraaz.
Her third black lady was for Best Actress (Jury/Popular) category for Fashion. She even won Critics Award for the Best Actress for her role in 7 Khoon Maaf, all this proves her versatility as an actress.
