Akshay Kumar's transition for Rajinikanth's 2.0 is damn scary and the actor is unrecognizable in this mad avatar.

This is the first time Akshay Kumar is working with Rajinikanth and the actor will be essaying the main antagonist role in this much talked about magnum opus of director Shankar.

The film is a sequel to the blockbuster hit Enthiran aka Robot in which Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan romanced superstar Rajinikanth. In this sequel, Aishwarya has been replaced by Amy Jackson for the lead female role in the movie.

Earlier known as Enthiran 2 or Robot 2, the film is now titled as 2.0 and is a Tamil-Hindi science fiction movie in which Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Dr. Richard, a mad scientist.

The leaked pictures of the 48-year-old actor from the movie, dressed in a black feathery costume, donning a grey hairdo and red eyes is super scary.

According to sources, Dr. Richard's mad experiments turn him into a half man-half crow mutant. Akshay surely looks the part and now it all comes down to his performance. The actor who has given several breathtaking performances in his recent films will surely walk away with all the awards next year for his role and performance in 2.0.

With his action skills, the battle between Akshay and Rajinikanth in the movie will definitely be a highlight. At a time when actors are skeptical to do negative roles in Bollywood, Akshay revealed why he accepted the antagonist role in Robot 2.

"There is no lobbying when it comes to awards for negative roles, which is what tempted me to do the film," said Akshay.
