Shahrukh Khan-Alia Bhatt Start Shooting For Gauri Shinde's Film

Director Gauri Shinde starts shooting her next project starring superstar Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, from 21st January.

Excited Karan Johar, who is co-producing the project took to Twitter to share his excitement about the yet to be titled movie. "And @gauris journey with @aliaa08 and @iamsrk begins today!! Really excited!," Johar wrote.

22-year-old, Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen space with SRK for the first time, and the actress also posted an enthusiastic tweet, "And a beautiful new journey begins!!!! Day one today for Gauris film. Wish me luckkkk @iamsrk @karanjohar @gauris," she wrote.

The film is being produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, Johar's Dharma and Hope Productions. Shinde, who made a promising directorial debut with 2012 movie English Vinglish, starring Sridevi, said a few months ago that the upcoming film will not have "typical romance".
