I Am Not Starring In Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' Says Varun Dhawan!
Varun Dhawan revealed that he will not star in Zoya Akhtar's next film titled 'Gully Boy'. Varun is currently shooting for Badrinath Ki Dulhania & says that it's a very special film for him.

reports,

Ranveer
Singh,
who
was
first
approached
for
the
film
had
opted
out
due
to
date
clashes
and
Varun
had
stepped
in.
However,
Varun
confirmed
that
he's
not
a
part
of
the
film,
"That's
not
true
at
all.
I
am
not
doing
that
film,"
said
the
actor
at
the
Star
Screen
Awards
on
Sunday.
Meanwhile,
the
Dishoom
actor
has
completed
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania
which
also
stars
Alia
Bhatt.
Speaking
about
the
film,
Varun
said,
"Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania
is
a
very
special
film
for
me.
I
am
very
passionate
about
this
project
and
the
film
delivers
a
special
message
also,
which
is
very
important."
Directed
by
Shashank
Khaitan,
the
romantic
comedy
is
set
to
release
on
March
10,
2017.
Asked
about
his
much-awaited
film
'Judwaa
2'
which
will
also
star
Jacqueline
Fernandez
and
Taapsee
Pannu,
Varun
said,
"I
always
wanted
to
work
with
Jacqueline
and
Taapsee.
I
have
worked
with
Jacqueline,
and
Tapsee
is
a
very
dear
friend.
I
am
very
excited
to
work
with
them.
Taapsee
was
outstanding
in
Pink.
Both
are
very
talented." The
film
is
directed
by
his
father,
David
Dhawan.
