Here's What Jimmy Sheirgill Has To Say On Udta Punjab Controversy

Jimmy Sheirgill has a huge who fan following in Punjab, thanks to his superhit Punjabi films. The actor was recently asked to comment on Udta Punjab's controversy.

To which he told a leading news agency, "...I don't want to comment on something without watching it."

Jimmy Sheirgill further added, "I don't want to say something right now and after watching the film, I regret that I shouldn't have said something like that."

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) demanded 89 cuts, in the movie and also the removal of the word Punjab from the movie's title. Later, the Revising
Committee told the makers for 13 cuts.

The film has now been granted an 'A' certificate with 13 cuts.

Udta Punjab stars actors like Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
