John Abraham Takes A 'Sly Dig' At Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood Dreams?
John Abraham revealed that he would not join Hollywood as outsiders would be seen as just “character actors” & took a sly dig at Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood dreams.
John Abraham was asked if he plans to star in a Hollywood movie anytime in the future and his response was pretty true and accurate! He said that Bollywood stars enter Hollywood and end up being just "character actors" having no weightage in the film. Well, did he take a sly dig at Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra? Well, of course not! John spoke about himself and was quoted as saying,
"I
just
want
to
make
films
that
are
sensible
enough
to
appeal
to
a
global
audience
rather
than
just
work
on
something
in
Hollywood.
Unfortunately,
most
Indian
actors
just
become
character
actors
there,
and
that's
very
low
on
my
priority
list.
I
probably
won't
do
a
Hollywood
film."
Hollywood is every actor's dream as it provides worldwide recognition & fame and also money which is out of the world! Also, quite a few Bollywood celebs have made it to Hollywood but only a few actors have become big stars there despite acting in many movies.
On the work front, John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha's movie Force 2 has released and is doing pretty well at the box office too. The film has received positive reviews and is an edge of the seat action-thriller film.
