Hottie Lisa Haydon On Being Body-shamed: I Was Picked On For Being A Toothpick
Lisa Haydon reveals that she was body-shamed for being too skinny and says that it is as bad as being fat.
While most of us are busy trying to acquire a body like our favourite hotties of B-town, actress Lisa Haydon tells a different story and admits of being body-shamed for being too skinny!
Recently, Lisa shot for a Vogue BFF talk along with Tarun Tahiliani and revealed how she was teased for being too skinny and it is as bad as being fat. She told, "People always think that if you're on the larger side or you're overweight, then you become complex. But I think being a really skinny kid makes you quite complex too."
She further added, " I just remember being picked on for being a toothpick. Really skinny and really tall. Eventually, you fill out and then, you tend to not put on weight when you're older. But, when you're younger and if you're really thin, people just make fun of you."
There's no denying that we are just obsessed with our body! Rather than leading a healthy life, we focus more on achieving six-pack abs or flat stomach and what not!
Thankfully, Lisa Haydon is one of those few ladies from B-town, who doesn't give a damn about so called 'perfect figure' and love her body as it is. After all, mirrors are just glass and we're surely more than that!
