Shahrukh Khan's Raees Team To Get Mahira Khan Back In India For Promotions Despite The Ban?

The trailer of Shahrukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer Raees is out and quite a lot of people have been impressed by the trailer and are now eagerly waiting for the film to release. SRK would start his promotional spree and since there is the ongoing ban on Pakistani actors in India, we wonder if Mahira Khan would join the Raees team for promotions!

However, Raees producer Rahul Dholakia seems to be unfazed by all these things and said that if it really requires Mahira to promote the film, he would get her down to India. He said, "If we find it necessary to bring her here and involve her in the promotions, of course, she will come. I don't think there is any restriction for her from the government. Aisa nahi hai ki they stopped issuing visas to anybody to come from there. So I think as and when we will decide to involve her, we'll get her to come."

Rahul Dholakia further commented, "We are sticking to the release date we announced earlier for 'Raees'. I don't think something like a ban has happened. The association has itself written to the government that people who have already made their films, who have completed their shooting, we should respect that. Let those movies release and whatever the government decides in the future, they will take a call on that."

Shahrukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Raees is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2016. The film would clash with Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil.
