Nana
Patekar
has
lashed
out
against
Bollywood
for
supporting
Pakistani
actors
after
the
Uri
attack
and
said
that
the
nation
always
comes
first
to
everyone.
Nana
also
unleashed
fury
and
said
people
should
not
listen
to
what
Bollywood
celebs
say
as
they
are
just
ordinary
and
useless
people.
He
said,
"I
don't
want
to
know
what
Bollywood
says.
I
was
in
the
army
for
two
years.
Our
jawans
are
the
real
heroes.
We
are
ordinary,
useless
people.
Do
not
pay
attention
to
what
we
say.
Do
you
understand
whom
am
I
talking
about?
Humlog
jo
patar
patar
karte
hain,
unpe
dhyan
mat
do.
Unki
aukat
nahi
utni."
(Don't
listen
to
what
celebs
say,
they
don't
really
have
a
say)
Nara
Patekar
further
commented,
"Pakistan,
artistes
come
later.
My
nation
comes
first.
I
don't
know
anyone
except
my
country
and
don't
want
to
know
anything
else.
Artistes
are
small
insects
in
front
of
the
nation,
we
are
worth
nothing
compared
to
the
country."
Just
recently
John
Abraham
and
Sonakshi
Sinha
had
praised
the
Indian
Army
for
the
surgical
strikes
against
Pakistan
and
John
was
quoted
as
saying,
"We
are
proud,
we
should
have
done
this
earlier.
I
am
talking
about
LoC.
It's
high
time
we
respond
to
terrorism.
As
a
country
we
are
very
tolerant
and
I
think
we
should
put
our
foot
down
and
show
what
India
can
do."
Sonakshi
Sinha
commented,
"I
feel
fortunate
to
be
part
of
industry
to
promote
and
express
our
solidarity
with
our
country
and
for
the
soldiers
who
are
true
heroes
of
this
country."
Also
Karan
Johar,
Mahesh
Bhatt
and
Salman
Khan
have
maintained
that
films
and
politics
should
not
be
mixed
and
said
that
art
has
no
borders.
However,
stars
like
Kangana
Ranaut
and
Ranbir
Kapoor
have
given
neutral
reactions
to
the
debate.
